About CES
Built by students who refused to wait.
The Cathedral Entrepreneurship Society was founded on a simple belief: the best time to learn how to build is before you think you're ready.
Mission
To cultivate entrepreneurial thinking — and the courage to act on it.
We equip students with the frameworks, networks, and real-world exposure to move from ideas to action. Not someday. Now. CES gives you the permission, the tools, and the community to start before you think you're ready.
Vision
A generation of founders who started at school.
We imagine a future where CES alumni are building category-defining companies, leading meaningful social enterprises, and changing the way India innovates — and where it all started with a conversation in a school common room.
What We Do
Three ways we operate.
CES isn't a single thing. It's a portfolio of experiences designed to meet students wherever they are in their entrepreneurial journey.
Events & Speaker Sessions
We bring founders, operators, investors, and creative thinkers into school for candid, unfiltered conversations. No PowerPoints. No PR. Just real talk from people who've been in the arena.

Our structured programme takes student ideas from napkin sketch to live product. Members get mentorship, peer accountability, and a framework to validate and build — while still in school.

Our student-run quarterly publication features original essays, founder interviews, and analysis of ideas shaping business and society. It's where we document what we're learning.

What we believe.
Ideas first
Every member is treated as a potential founder. We take every idea seriously, no matter how rough.
Bias toward action
We prototype before we perfect. Shipping something imperfect beats planning something perfect.
Radical collaboration
The best ideas come from unexpected combinations of people. We mix grades, disciplines, and skill sets.
Long-term thinking
We care about alumni, mentors, and the community we're building — not just the current academic year.
Learning out loud
We document failures as much as wins. The magazine, our blog, and our talks are all part of this.
Impact over prestige
We measure ourselves by real outcomes: users, revenue, change — not trophies or certificates.
Our Story
How we got here.
Founded
A group of eight students frustrated by the gap between school-taught business theory and the reality of building companies. CES was born from that frustration.
First Speaker Series
We hosted our first formal speaker session — a Zoom call with a founder who'd built and sold a startup by 24. Forty students attended. We were hooked.
The Venture Launches
Our student magazine launched with its first issue: eight articles, one interview, and a lot of caffeine. It has been published every term since.
First Cohort of Ventures
We launched our first structured incubation programme. Three ventures emerged, two of which found real paying users within six months.
200+ Members
CES grew to over 200 active members across all school years, with a dedicated core team, advisory board, and alumni network.
The Next Chapter
Expanding mentorship, deepening our venture programme, and building partnerships with accelerators, VCs, and industry leaders.
